Serving infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a bright, warm, and developmentally appropriate environment.

Your child could learn to listen and speak this year at hear ME now!, Maine's oral deaf learning center for children who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Today, most babies born with hearing loss can have access to meaningful sound. Carefully aided, these children can detect most, if not all, of the speech spectrum. Carefully taught, they can learn to listen and speak.

What makes hear ME now! unique in Maine is the educational program for parents and children designed by our experienced professionals - teachers of the deaf, speech language pathologists, and audiologist. Programming and support is designed to maximize a child's residual hearing and promote the development of spoken language.

Our staff understands that hearing sound is only the beginning. Children must learn to translate those sounds into meaningful words. That's a tough, technical, time-consuming task. No child, no family can do it alone. They need help.
They need hear ME now!
